<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus in which a staggered arrangement interval in a vertical scanning direction of array chips can be increased, a width in the vertical scanning direction of the array chip can be increased, chipping at ends of the array chip can be prevented, a manufacturing yield of the array chip can be improved and the workability of arranging the array chips in a staggered form can be improved in comparison with conventional imaging apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of array chips are arranged in the staggered form in the vertical scanning direction so that static latent images to be formed on a photoreceptor set in the imaging apparatus are formed in a straight line in a horizontal scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
