<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that surely performs electrical shielding. <P>SOLUTION: In this liquid crystal display device, a light transmission plate 4 and an optical sheet 5 constituting a back light unit, and a lower polarizing plate 9, a lower substrate 10, an upper substrate 11 and an upper polarizing plate 12 constituting a liquid crystal display panel are sequentially laminated for installment in a lower case 1, an upper case 2 formed of a metallic frame body is provided fittingly with the lower case 1 so that the upper polarizing plate 12 of the liquid crystal display panel may face a display opening 2b formed on an upper face of the upper case 2, a projection 2c provided projectingly from the periphery of the display opening 2b of the upper case 2 is inserted through an insertion hole 11a provided on the upper substrate 11, and its front end is electrically connected to a ground pattern 10a provided on the upper face of the lower substrate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
