POROUS CERAMIC FILTER USING HOLLOW POLYMER PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow particle having a high fracture strength and usable as a fracture-free pore forming agent in manufacturing a ceramic filter and a porous ceramic having a high porosity and a low thermal expansion coefficient which is manufactured by using the hollow particle as a pore forming agent.

SOLUTION: The pore forming agent for forming a porous ceramic filter comprises a hollow polymer particle with a 10% compressive strength of≥1.5 MPa and an average particle diameter of 1-30μm and the porous ceramic filter is manufactured by using the hollow particle.
