<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable connection of a plurality of line exposure heads in a manner that the quantity of light near a connecting part is prevented from changing and the connecting part is undistinguishable. <P>SOLUTION: The digital exposure device for photosensitive materials is provided with line exposure heads 1 and 2 having many recording elements arranged in a horizontal scanning direction in a line, and transfers the photosensitive material P to expose digital images from the line exposure heads 1 and 2. The device has a structure in which the plurality of line exposure heads 1 and 2 are set in a longitudinal direction to overlap respective ends at an exposure time, and expose the photosensitive material wider than one line exposure head length. SELFOC lenses 6 and 7 are set between the line exposure heads 1, 2 and the photosensitive material P. Light from the line exposure heads 1 and 2 is focused by the SELFOC lenses 6 and 7 onto a photosensitive material exposure face. At ends of the line exposure heads 1 and 2 which overlap at the exposure time, light shielding materials 11 and 12 and set to positions away from the photosensitive material P in a path for the light from the line exposure heads 1 and 2 to reach the photosensitive material P.
