<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic one-component developer having high image density, decreased image defects, such as fogging, little change in the image density and deterioration of image quality and decreased ghost phenomena. <P>SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic one-component developer containing at least a binder resin, coloring agents and a charge control agent, in which the essential component of the binder resin is a polyester resin of≥1.2 in the value of OHV /AV when a hydroxyl group value is defined as OHV and an acid value as AV; and the developer contains the calixarene compound expressed by the following constitutional formula (1) as the charge control agent and contains hydrophobic silica of≥60 in the degree of hydrophobing at 0.01 to 3.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight the developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
