PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring unit that can simply and easily consider data regarding a sensor in measurement, and can be used under a severe environment. SOLUTION: The measuring unit is equipped with a sensor 1, an evaluating unit 3 that is connected to the sensor via a separable connection cable 2, and a storage unit 4 that can be inquired via the evaluating unit 3 and is laid in the sensor for having data regarding the sensor. In this case, the storage unit 4 is arranged outside the sensor 1, and an identification unit 5 having sensor recognition capability that can be correlated with the storage unit 4 is provided in or on the sensor 1.
