PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxime, capable of completely separating the reaction product by separating phases, capable of producing the product at a reaction rate in a technically acceptable range, and making use of such a solvent that is inert to sulfuric acid. SOLUTION: This method for producing the oxime comprises reacting a ketone or an aldehyde with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. The reaction is carried out in the presence of a catalyst system comprising at least two components in a phase system composed of an aqueous phase and another phase comprising a hydrocarbon which is inert under the reaction condition, wherein a first component of the catalyst system exists in an inhomogeneous state and is composed based on titanium, silicon, and oxygen, a second component of the catalyst system comprises a homogeneously dissolved or dispersed ammonium salt, and at least one kind of phase-mediating agent (Phasenvermittler) exists in the phase system.
