PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dressing which has good setting properties and styling feeling, light using touch (slip sense), moist texture and good storage stability, or the like, while being not sticky nor watery nor rasping, or the like, and has appropriate hardness which results in preventing the dripping of the liquid, is capable of easily taking by hand, easily and homogeneously spreading it on an application area and easily fitting in hair. SOLUTION: This hair dressing agent characteristically comprises (I) a crosslinked polyacrylic acid, (II) silicones, (III) set components, (IV) a nonionic surface active agent, (V) a cationic surface active agent, (VI) a pH conditioner and (VII) water, and the content of the component (VII) of 65-98 wt.%.
