PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulsified composition which is easily applied, provides a good feeling in use, does not undergo phase separation, or the like by temperature variation, or the like, and is highly stable over a long period. SOLUTION: This composition contains urea, a swellable clay mineral, and at least one glycyrrhizic acid compound selected from among glycyrrhizic acid and its salts and derivatives. Preferably, the glycyrrhizic acid compound is a water-soluble glycyrrhizic acid salt. Preferably, the composition contains 5-25 mass% urea, 0.1-5 mass% swellable clay mineral, and 0.1-2 mass% glycyrrhizic acid compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
