PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary sun visor which can be projected from a sun visor in a desired length in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction without disturbing driving in a normal case and which can be formed with a low cost. SOLUTION: The auxiliary sun visor comprises a shielding plate formed of a transparent or translucent material having shielding properties, a long hole long in a horizontal direction and formed at the plate, and a band for holding the plate to be inserted into the hole so as to be attached to or detached to the sun visor so that the plate can move at a predetermined distance in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction.
