The invention concerns a loading carriage for manually loaded laminating press. The inventive loading carriage (1) comprises a slide for receiving (2) a laminate to be sealed on a document, first means for positioning the laminate on the slide, a support for receiving (3) the document and second means for positioning the document on the support. The invention is characterized in that the slide (2) is designed to be folded on the support (3) so as to press the laminate on the document in a predetermined position before the carriage (1) is inserted in the press. The invention also concerns a manually loaded press for laminating a document equipped with such a carriage.
