<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential mechanism for a car capable of easily performing torque distribution control and securing sufficient reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The differential mechanism for car is provided with an input side generating motor 9 on an input shaft 6 side of a differential device 5, and an output side generating motor 10 on one side of respective output shafts 7, 8. The mechanism is constituted so as to supply the electric power of generating motors 9, 10 of one side to the generating motors 9, 10 of the other side to perform a torque distribution control or the like. As compared with a mechanism where the torque distribution is conducted by oil pressure or the like, the torque distribution control can be effected more easily.
