PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately perform a gear shift without using a gear shift pedal and a gear shift lever. SOLUTION: A shift spindle 51 engaging and disengaging a transmission clutch 39 and establishing a predetermined gear shift stage by rotating the shift drum 81 of a transmission is rotatingly driven by a motor 58 through speed reduction gears 62 to 67. When a shift-up switch or shift-down switch (not shown) is operated, the motor 58 is operated to rotate the shift spindle 51 in a predetermined direction so as to operate the transmission clutch 39 and the shift drum 81 with specified timings for gear shifting.
