PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float cover which is lightweight and excellent in workability, and eliminates fear of emission of dioxin even during incineration by virtue of the absence of a contained polyvinyl chloride-based material. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this float cover is constituted by using a fabric which has a tensile strength of 2 kN/3 cm or more and is manufactured by being woven from a spun-dyed polyester yarn which is composed of a polyester resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.85 or more and contains a pigment. Resin coating is not applied to the fabric. The float cover is used especially for an antipollution film in such a manner as to contain a cylindrical styrofoam float. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
