PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylenic resin composition for fusion sealing excellent in tear strength, tensile breaking strength and fusion sealing strength, and a product for fusion sealing composed of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The polyethylenic resin composition for fusion sealing comprises a copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one oxygen atom-containing ethylenically unsaturated compound in a weight ratio within a certain range, where the copolymer has a melt flow rate within a certain range and the content of the oxygen atom-containing ethylenically Unsaturated compound is within a certain range, and an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a weight ratio within a certain range, where the number of carbon atoms in theα-olefin is within a certain range, the copolymer has a melt flow rate within a certain range and a density within a certain range, the variation coefficient of the composition distribution is within a specified range, and the weight ratio of the cold xylene-soluble portion and the density have a specific relation.
