<p>An image processing device and method enabling use of a cross-bar circuit of a smaller size and higher-speed processing. After a DDA processing (ST11), texture data is read out of a memory (ST12) and is subjected to sub-word rearrangement (ST13) and to texture filtering (ST14). A cross-bar circuit (13) global-distributes the texture data to first arithmetic units of the processing modules (ST15). Using the texture data subjected to a pixel-level processing, specifically, a filtering and various data subjected to rusterization, an operation in units of a pixel is carried out. Pixel data passing various tests in the pixel-level processing is drawn in a frame buffer of a memory module (ST16).</p> |
