The device for a door (1) has a component which partly or completely covers at least one door closure opening and between the door panel lock side (3) and the frame (8) has a plate-shaped lever (12) pivotable in a plane parallel to the inside of the frame above the closure pin closure opening (10) by means of a pivot pin (13).
