Method for operating an opthalmological device for determination of the intra-ocular lens distance, whereby the measurement of the retina curvature and the axial length of the patient eye is achieved. Input means are provided for determination of refraction from the retina curvature and axial length measurements along the main eye axis. The invention also relates to a corresponding arrangement for eye refraction determination.
