PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis system that can avoid the influence of contamination due to a remaining sample in the reinspection of an immunological analysis after the completion of analysis in a biochemical analysis unit. SOLUTION: In the automatic analysis system having a biochemical analysis unit 1 and an immunological analysis unit 2, a data processor section 4 inserts a probe 11 into a sample 10 for carrying out a sampling operation so that an amount S2 of insertion in sampling operation for sucking the sample 10 where a contaminated site 12 due to a remaining sample exists becomes deeper than that in a normal sampling operation for sucking the sample without any contaminated sites, thus sucking the sample 10 at a non-contaminated site, and hence preventing the contamination due to the remaining sample from affecting the reinspection of an immunological analysis.
