PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the precision of deviation correction from becoming worse even when deviation data can not be sent to an optical device side at a fixed interval. SOLUTION: A camera system comprises a photographing device having a deviation detecting means of detecting deviation of an optical axis and an optical device having a deviation correcting means of correcting the deviation and has a function of correcting the deviation by sending data from the photographing device to the optical device and driving the deviation correcting means. The photographing device sends time data to the optical device together with the deviation data detected by the deviation detection means and the optical device drives the deviation correcting means according to the currently received deviation data or deviation data having been received (#812 or #818).
