<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber extra length processing sheet that is simple in structure, space-saving and superior in handling workability for example, that has small optical loss against change in various environments, and that facilitates flame retardancy, and also to provide the processing method. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the optical fiber extra length processing sheet in which the extra length portion of the optical fiber is fixed by means of two sheet base materials 1, 2.
