PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap gate door that can avoid such a situation that an electric motor is operated in a high load state to make an operator feel uneasy and eliminate an unpleasant crash sound by eliminating a crash against the ground surface, a stopper, or the like when closing or opening the door completely and moreover eliminate a lowering of the service life of the electric motor, a transmission mechanism, or the like. SOLUTION: This trap gate door 1 is provided with an arm means 81 supported to a post 2 rotatably in directions A, B; a door 13 mounted to the arm means 81; a resilience applying means 31 for applying resilience in the direction A to the arm means 81; a unit rotation detecting means 45 for detecting the unit quantity rotation of the arm means 81 at every unit quantity rotation of the arm means 81; an automatic arm rotating means 46 for automatically rotating the arm means 81; and a control means 34 for controlling the rotation of the arm means 81 on the basis of the detection result of the unit rotation detecting means 45.
