PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut water device capable of efficiently eliminating and drying the water attached to a surface of a plate material without using considerable capital investments. SOLUTION: In this cut water device for cutting the water while conveying the plate material 4 on which the water is attached, a gas injection nozzle 1 is mounted at an upstream side in the plate material conveying direction, and a water vapor injection nozzle 2 is mounted at its downstream side.
