PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover for a direct acting device, which holds an appropriate function, is excellent in thermal resistance, and easily capable of reforming and repairing. SOLUTION: The dust cover is comprised of a side face cover group 13, an upper part cover member 18, an end part cover member 19, and a side face lower part cover member 20, and set to a linear guide 10 comprised of a guide rail 11 and a slider 12 with a bolt 21. The side face cover group 13 is comprised of a collection of side face cover 14 consisting of a plurality of metallic thin plates, and attachable and detachable to the linear guide 10 in group. Each side face cover is supported to a side face cover supporting member 15 with a hinge bolt 16, and tiltable about a hinge bolt 16 as a pivot. The side face cover 14 is pressed and tilted by the sliding slider 12 and restored in the upright state relative to perpendicular direction by action of a plumb provided at a lower end after the slider 12 passes.
