PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary tacking adhesive tape of gray sheets for ceramic electronic components, having large adhesive force in temporary tacking of a laminate composed of green sheets, capable of readily releasing the tape in taking out of a work and not contaminating the work. SOLUTION: This temporary tacking adhesive tape is obtained by providing an adhesive layer on one side or both sides of a base film. In the tape, the adhesive layer is composed of an adhesive composition containing a side chain- crystallizable polymer comprising, as a component, an acrylate and/or methacrylate having≥16C straight-chain alkyl group as the side chain and having a first-order melting transition point which occurs over a temperature range narrower than about 35°C, and the elastic modulus of the adhesive layer is 5×10<SP>4</SP>Pa to 1×10<SP>8</SP>Pa.
