POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition which can be polymerized and molded in a short time photopolymerization, and an optical part obtained by curing the composition has high refractive index and Abbe number and also has good thermal characteristics and mechanical characteristics (e.g. impact resistance). SOLUTION: In a polymerizable composition containing at least (a) a polymerizable compound and (b) a polymerization initiator, this polymerizable composition comprises (a-1) an acrylic ester compound represented by general formula (1) and (a-2) an acrylic ester compound represented by general formula (2) as each the polymerizable compound.
