PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adhere an abrasion decreasing layer to a slide bearing as predetermined. SOLUTION: The method is to use Cu-Al comprising Al of 0.01% to 20%, selectively other elements, and the balance copper with ordinary impurities as the bearing material to manufacture the slide bearing with abrasion resistance. For this, the slide bearing has an outside abrasion decreasing cover layer in the thickness range of D=10 nm to 10μm made of only aluminum oxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
