PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming method for a wall capable of easily distributing new wires and easily exchanging positions of switches and receptacles when sticking a sheet of new wallpaper to reform the wall. SOLUTION: This is a method for reforming a wall 2 on which sheets of wallpaper 1 are stuck. By scraping off a part of a wall 2 from above the wall paper 1, a recessed groove 4 to embed the wires 3 into the wall 2 is formed. Next, after the wires 3 are put in the recessed groove 4, the opening 5 of the recessed groove 4 is covered with a covering member 6 so as not to make flush with the wall surface 2a. and then, a base member 7 is stuck on the wall 2 from above the wall surface, and the new wallpaper 10 is stuck to the wall 2 from above the wallpaper 1.
