<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing time and labor for storage/retrieval work of an import/export cargo by improving the paperwork efficiency, and to improve customer service by accurately responding without time lag to inquiry about the progress state of an ordered cargo. <P>SOLUTION: Storage/retrieval work commands and work progress states of the import/export cargo in a bonded storehouse C are stored in a database by a host computer 30 of a central data processing station A. A radio LAN is formed among the database 31, a mobile data processing terminal 13 of the bonded storehouse C, and a portable radio communication terminal 20. A work progress state is displayed on a control screen of the mobile data processing terminal via the database. When a storage/retrieval work command is selected by every predetermined unit of the import/export cargo in response to the progress state, storage/retrieval work information of the cargo is displayed on an output screen of a portable radio communication terminal possessed by a field worker via radio communication, and storage/retrieval work of the cargo can be performed based on the storage/retrieval work information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
