The alignment device uses a camera (30) mounted on the X-ray apparatus (1) or the therapy device (10) and a cooperating optical reference object (31) mounted on the therapy device or the X-ray apparatus, with evaluation of the image of the optical reference object provided by the camera, for determining and adjusting the relative alignment. The optical reference object can be provided with a coding, e.g. a 2-dimensional bar coding. An Independent claim for a method for aligning an X-ray apparatus and an acoustic wave therapy device is also included. |
