<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when the quality of fruits and vegetables is decided nondestructively and with satisfactory accuracy by infrared light or the like, an optical route must be moved up and down according to the size of each fruit or vegetable, that a complicated operation part must be arranged and installed, that the production cost of an apparatus is increased, that a high speed is obstructed, and that the reliability and the maintainability of the apparatus are lowered. <P>SOLUTION: The nondestructive quality decision apparatus is constituted in such a way that a projection means 8 and a light receiving means 9 are arranged on both sides in a halfway of a conveyance route of each fruit or vegetable 5 so as to be used as a measuring part 7, that the projection means 8 and the means 9 are offset-arranged with reference to the height direction of a face of the conveyance route, and that the measuring part of each fruit or vegetable is situated between the projection means 8 and the means 9 in the height direction of the conveyance route as viewed from the horizontal direction with reference to the face of the conveyance route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
