PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement device capable of easily replacing a roller cutter fitted to a cutter face. SOLUTION: In this roller cutter replacement device, a roller cutter mounting spherical body seat 4 can be varied between a support state in which the roller cutter 2 is projected to the front of the cutter face 1 and a projected state in which the front of the roller cutter 2 is covered by rotating the roller cutter 2 to the front of the roller cutter 2. A load W acting on the roller cutter mounting spherical body seat 4 in the supported state of the roller cutter mounting spherical seat 4 is supported on the machine side I of the roller cutter mounting spherical body seat 4. A spherical reaction receiver 5 detachable in the projected state of the roller cutter mounting spherical body seat 4 is installed, and the front of the roller cutter 2 is covered by the roller cutter mounting spherical body seat 4 and the spherical reaction receiver 5 is removed so that the roller cutter 2 can be removed to the machine side I.
