PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rear body structure capable of ensuring good vehicular strength and having excellent impact absorbing performance to rear end collision, in a pickup vehicle. SOLUTION: This vehicular rear body structure comprises a pickup deck 2 having a tail gate 3, a pair of first reinforcing members 4 disposed from a vehicular roof both side edges to a part near a front portion of the pickup deck 2, a pair of second reinforcing members 5 disposed on a side panel upper edge of the pickup deck 2 and having front end portions respectively united with rear end portions of the first reinforcing members 4, a pair of a luggage pipes 8 installed from a vehicular roof rear end portion of each first reinforcing member 4 to a middle part of each second reinforcing member 5, a pair of crushable zones 5 formed behind each luggage pipe installing point on the second reinforcing member 5, and a third reinforcing member disposed from a part near a hinge portion of the tail gate 3 to each luggage pipe 8.
