PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle carrier car capable of easily installing a device on various vehicles by eliminating a guide rail which is conventionally required and improving workability. SOLUTION: The vehicle carrier car is constituted by installing a load carrying platform 2 free to place the vehicle on a car frame 1, making a rear end of the load carrying platform 2 ground on the ground as the load carrying platform 2 is inclined through a tilting frame 3 on a rear end part of the car frame 1 by backward slide by actuation of a slide cylinder 4 and free to load and unload the vehicle on and from the load carrying platform 2 through a footboard 6 provided on a rear end of the load carrying platform 2. The tilting frame 3 is provided with an inclination assisting mechanism to assist inclination thereof. The inclination assisting mechanism is a damper 5 connected to the car frame 1 and the tilting frame 3 and to support tilting motion of the tilting frame 3 downward and upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
