PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a driving wheel which reduces the weight of the device, makes it compact, and improves the durability by plastic bonding. SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the driving wheel, a hub wheel 1, a uniform rate universal joint 3, and a double-row rolling bearing 2 are made integral; a side 1a of either inside transfer face in the double-row rolling bearing 2 is formed at an outer perimeter of the hub wheel 1, the other side 14a is formed at an outer perimeter of an outside coupling member 14 respectively; both members 1 and 14 are fitted by pressing an end face 19 of the hub wheel 1 into contact with a shoulder part 16 of an outside coupling member 14; in the fitted part, an unevenness 5 hardened at the inner perimeter of the hub wheel 1 is formed; and the both members 1 and 14 are integrally and plastically bonded by expanding the diameter of the fitted part 17b of the outside coupling member 14 and squeezing thereof. The fitted part 17b of the outside coupling member 14 is left behind, and a hardening layer is formed on the surface reaching at least the inside transfer face 14a and a shaft part 17.
