The invention relates to a floor and wall tile. The inventive tile is essentially characterised in that it comprises a rectilinear tile or laminar structure which is provided with rounded projecting elements on some of the sides thereof, while the other sides of same are provided with recesses having an identical shape to that of the projecting elements but which are slightly smaller in size.
