A polypeptide comprises: (i) the amino acid sequence set out in SEQ ID NO: 2; (ii) a variant of a sequence as defined in (i) which is capable of helicase-like activity; or (iii) a fragment of a sequence as defined in (i) or (ii) which is capable of helicase activity. The polypeptide, a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide or a modulator of expression and/or activity of the polypeptide may be used in the treatment or diagnosis of a cancer or a premature ageing disorder.
