<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably and uniformly oiling a given amount of oil onto the surface of a wire to be wound in high speed. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises the following process; oil 2 is applied onto the surface of a wire 1 finished to a diameter of 0.10-0.40 mm in its drawing step and to be wound in a speed of as high as 600-1,200 m/min, and the resultant wire 1 is passed through the hole 3S of a guide chip 3, wherein the inner diameter D of the hole 3S is somewhat greater than the diameter d of the wire 1, or is contacted with a plurality of rolls each having a groove on the flank whose diameter is somewhat greater than the diameter d of the wire 1, thus the given amount of the oil 2 is uniformly picked up on the surface of the wire 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
