<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately cope with the theft of a vehicle when moving the vehicle by pushing it without starting an engine. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle theft prevention device is provided with a means for detecting a rotational condition of a front wheel or a rear wheel in the vehicle; a means for detecting that the vehicle is in a parking condition; a means for generating an alarm command when a theft monitoring mode is made to operate according to the detection of the parking condition, and the rotational condition of the front wheel or the rear wheel of the vehicle is detected in the monitoring mode; and a means for generating alarm in accordance with the alarm command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
