METHOD FOR REGENERATING LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a lithographic printing plate by which an image part is easily and surely removed and contamination by the printing ink during regenerating is further decreased for removing an image so as to regenerate a photographic lithographic printing plate from a lithographic printing plate after printed.

SOLUTION: The method for regenerating a lithographic printing plate is carried out by using a photosensitive lithographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer on the surface of an aluminum supporting body and fixed to the plate cylinder of a printing machine. After the photosensitive layer is scanned and exposed by using a laser light source and developed to form an image to prepare a lithographic printing plate, printing ink is supplied to the plate to print the objective material. Then the image is removed by a removing agent to regenerate the aluminum supporting body and a photosensitive layer is again formed on the surface of the aluminum supporting body to regenerate the photosensitive lithographic printing plate. As for the removing agent, an alkaline aqueous solution having ≥10 pH is used.
