ELECTRICAL CONTACT MEMBER FOR FLUID QUICK CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick connector keeping safe electrical connection with a conductive pipe received therein. SOLUTION: A connector housing 20 of a conductive female member 12 can be mutually engaged with a conductive male end form 14. A conductive contact member 100 is mounted in a hole 22 of the female member 12. The conductive contact member 100 has an arm portion 110 extending from a mounting portion with which the male end form 14 can be engaged while the arm portion 110 is inserted in the housing 20 so that the male end form 14 is electrically connected with the housing 20. The mounting portion is a tubular body portion 101 or an annular ring-like shape. When the mounting portion is the annular ring, an annular finger-like portion projects from a ring for engagement with the housing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
