PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a wire netting quickly and neatly to prevent fallen leaves from accumulating on the bottom of eaves gutter without bending the wire netting and to prevent the worker from cutting a part of his hand during the work thereby improving the conventional method of work. SOLUTION: In the wire netting fixing construction comprising an eaves gutter 1, eaves gutter suspending device 4 fixed to a building which suspends the eaves gutter 1 from its inner side, a band-shaped wire netting 2 placed on the eaves gutter suspending device 4 and a wire netting fixing device 5 holding the wire netting 2 while being fixed to the eaves gutter suspension device 4, the wire netting fixing device 5 is equipped with the wire netting holding portion 6 at the outdoor side and a wire netting holding portion 7 at the building side. The wire netting inserting direction of the wire netting holding portion 6 at the outdoor side is in a vertical direction, and the wire netting insertion direction of the wire netting holding portion 7 at the building side is sloped. One side of the end portion in the width direction of the wire netting 2 is bent and a bent portion 3 is formed, and the bent portion 3 is held by the wire netting holding portion 6 at the building side with the wire netting direction being in vertical direction.
