FIBER REINFORCED RESIN MADE CAGE MAT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING WORK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage mat improving the working efficiency by an appropriate flexibility while having a sufficient rigidity to keep the shape of the cage mat and having no secular corrosion, neither environmental pollution nor danger against human injury due to breakage. SOLUTION: A mesh body with an arbitrary mesh opening is made by use of an intermediate body 4 made of a long fiber reinforced resin made wired material and covered with a solidified thermoplastic resin 3 on the external periphery of the long fiber 1 impregnated with an uncured thermosetting resin 2. The heated and cured mesh body is formed into a polyhedral three- dimensional shape for the fiber reinforced resin made civil engineering cage mat having a plane-constituted member of cage mat body such as a gabion work, a wire cylinder, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
