A circulator/isolator capable of low IMD and high power operation that is adapted for automated assembly and placement. The circulator/isolator includes a metal housing 2 with flare slots 2b to receive4 teeth 5a in locking cover 5. Alignment holes 1b and slots 2c are provided in the PCB 1 and housing 2. This arrangemtn facilitates assembly through alignment pins from an alignment fixture.
