<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular information recording device capable of recording information before and after an accident, without requiring a large memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicular information recording device comprises a brake switch 1 for detecting a brake operation state, a vehicular speed sensor 2, a throttle sensor 3, a collision determining portion 4f for detecting that a vehicle collides with an article, and a data saving portion 4c for storing vehicular information. The data saving portion 4d stores the vehicular information at detecting that a brake is operated by the brake switch 1, and the vehicular information at detecting the collision of the vehicle by the collision determining portion 4f.
