<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosis device of a vehicular switch capable of reducing the possibility of erroneous diagnosis caused by a use condition and obtaining high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A main switch Sw2 detects whether a brake pedal 1 is stepped on and reaches a first predetermined position or not, and an auxiliary switch Sw1 detects whether the brake pedal 1 reaches a second predetermined position between an initial position and the first predetermined position or not. When it is detected that the brake pedal 1 reaches the second predetermined position, an ECM 7 starts the integration of time.
