PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect the malfunction of equipment including an ACG (alternator) and a hydraulic switch which develop an output following an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: For example, regarding the ACG, whether the output of the ACG is within a preset range or not is determined in a preset time (CACGLMT) on a periodic basis (for every 100 msec) (S20, S24, S26). A frequency (CACG) that the output is determined to be not within the preset range is counted (S22), and the counted frequency is compared with a reference value (CACGIN, CACGOUT).
