A method for laying wall and floor tiles with coloured spacer strips has adhesive or adhesive tape applied to the wall or floor with an overlap to grip both the edge of the tiles and the spacer strips. The tape fitting can be a press-fit tape system. The tiling is finished using conventional grouting.
