A security mounting for a lever operated lock has the lever hinged at one end of a lipped recess into which it is folded for locking. The edges of the lever are lipped and overhang the lipped recess to prevent forcing of the lock with a crowbar or similar tool. A key operated lock is incorporated into the metal lever, with the overhanging design of the lever covering the locking catch.
