A clip device for endoscope in which a trouble that a clip can not be reopened when it is closed once and operation must be performed under half-open state of clip is improved. The clip device for endoscope characterized by comprising a clipping means having a pair of arm parts capable of open/close operation, an operating means for opening/closing the arm parts of the clipping means while holding them, a securing means for securing the arm in closed state after the arm parts are closed, and means for disposing the securing means on the outside of the arm part.
